About JR James!

I was born in Albion, NY in 1978 and now live in Fountain Inn, SC.

I got my first dirt bike, a Yamaha PW50 with training wheels, when I was four! Man, that thing was COOL! My Dad tells me that after just 45 minutes of riding it I was begging for him to take the training wheels off. When I turned six I got a Yamaha MX80. In that summer of 1984 my parents began taking me to local flat tracks for practice days and also taking me to my grandparents farm so I could ride. I didn’t start racing until 1985 right after I turned the ripe old age of seven.

My first race was at Paradise Speedway, a quarter mile track in Geneva, NY. Since that day I have won numerous located races and national events. I am now an AMA Pro Racing card holder and 2009 was my rookie year as a Pro. For 2010 I hope to make the majority of national events racing from coast to coast, including many more local events. My love for motorcycles runs so deep that today, I work for a motorcycle company. The people, the products and so much more make me enjoy going to work each day. What can I say, I am a motorcycle junkie. Gotta have that two-wheeled fix!
